Two rooms have been made into one which means the room looks over the back and front of the house so there is plenty of light. The main feature of the room is the wonderful original carved cornice, ceiling rose and the tall ceiling. To enhance this the walls were painted in Taupe with Old white plasterwork and Bleached Canvas on the ceiling.
| This is a work in progress - it's an old French farmhouse with many beautiful features. The rooms are being done slowly and carefully to retain the feeling of the original but bringing it up to date with modern living.
| A large bedroom that needed a complete updating. Our client's brief was that she wanted something light and feminine. The colours we chose were soft and calming and very pretty and the fabrics the same in texture. These were a creamy white with greys and lavender and blue. We painted the walls and ceiling in Old White Wall paint and painted the old pine cabinets and cupbopards in Old Whiite and Old Violet Chalk Paint with Paris Grey. The main focus of the room was the rose covered coronet on the bed hung with our beautiful Cicada fabric
