Creating the French Look
Napoleonic Blue -LIMITED EDITION
This is a rich classical blue with a lot of depth of colour particularly when it is waxed to bring out the sheen so it has a silky look to it. It's called after Napoleon because it is one of the powerful colour he liked to use in his apartments.
LIMITED EDITION
An small bedside table done in Country Grey with the mouldings done in a mix of Country Grey and Aubusson.
A stunning effect made by painting Napoleonic Blue over Antibes Green, waxing and rubbing back with sand paper.
ADD OLD WHITE - to make 'Kimono'
Add 8 parts of Old White to 1 part of Celadon Green to make a gentle powdery looking green I've seen on Japanese decoration so I called it KIMONO

Our Horizon Ticking for curtains works well with Napoleonic Blue.
